Spanish Health Care Interpreter Training Program

The Oregon AHEC Spanish Health Care Interpreter Training Program has been developed to address an emerging need for training identified by Oregon health care employers serving increasing populations of low English proficiency (LEP) and non-English proficient (NEP) Spanish-speaking patients. This program was developed to bring training to local communities across Oregon.

MEDSTARS HEALTH CAREERS

MedStars is a summer residential experience at OHSU designed to help high school students from rural Oregon learn about health careers. It is sponsored by the Oregon AHEC Program Office and 4 regional AHEC centers. Students will have the opportunity to experience health careers with hands-on activities, lectures and tours.
